Everyday feedback is welcome; protect complete proposals you want kept confidential or sold.
Why this policy exists
We appreciate players’ enthusiasm for DAWNBLOOM. Ideas for jobs, characters, Phantom Beasts, stories, maps, events, skills, systems, and products are common. To avoid confusion with work we already have, are developing, or may independently develop, we generally do not accept complete unsolicited creative proposals submitted for commercial review.
Please do not send material you want treated as confidential, proprietary, a trade secret, patent-pending, for sale, or subject to a nondisclosure agreement before review. Seek appropriate professional advice before sending such material.
Everyday player feedback
You may still send gameplay impressions, bug reports, interface and balance suggestions, event feedback, feature requests, ordinary “I wish the game had…” ideas, and criticism through DAWNBLOOM Community or Support. We may read these to understand players and improve the game.
Submitting ordinary feedback does not automatically transfer ownership of a player’s complete original art, fiction, music, code, or other protected work to DAWNBLOOM.
Complete material we discourage sending
- Complete commercial game plans, job design documents, character business proposals, scripts, original music, unpublished art for sale, or source code.
- Proprietary algorithms, trade secrets, investment or purchase proposals, or material conditioned on an NDA before reading.
Official calls for submissions
If we later run an idea call, character or art contest, fan-work event, music call, collaboration program, recruitment test, or partner program, its separately published rules will apply.
If you send a complete proposal anyway
DAWNBLOOM has no duty to review, reply to, adopt, or pay for it, or to treat material without a prior agreement as a trade secret. Receipt alone creates no agency, partnership, employment, commissioned-development, confidentiality, investment, or other contract.
DAWNBLOOM’s receipt of your material alone does not automatically transfer ownership of your original work to DAWNBLOOM.
Independent development and similar ideas
We may have conceived, designed, tested, built, abandoned, or planned similar content before receiving feedback. Games also share familiar design elements. Similarity of ideas alone does not prove copying. A genuine copyright, contract, or other dispute should be assessed using the actual expression, creation history, evidence, and applicable law.
Fan works remain welcome
This policy does not bar fan art, fiction, comics, character or worldbuilding ideas, videos, cosplay, guides, AI-assisted fan works, or community creations allowed under the Fan Content Guidelines. Public posting does not transfer ownership; official sharing or display continues under those Guidelines.
