Welcome to DAWNBLOOM Archive. These Terms apply to downloading, installing or using DAWNBLOOM Archive from official channels, its updates and related official services.
By downloading or using DAWNBLOOM Archive, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not download or use it. Software availability and installation package information are as actually displayed on the official website.

2. Product and Availability
DAWNBLOOM Archive is a desktop tool for browsing, compressing, extracting, previewing and inspecting archive files locally on a device. Features, compatibility and availability dates for each platform are determined by the corresponding official release and the information actually published on the official website.
The product offers macOS and Windows versions. For specific download availability, architecture and signing status, please see the corresponding platform card on the official website.
3. Local Files and Privacy
The archive browsing, compression, extraction, preview and integrity-checking features currently implemented run locally. DAWNBLOOM servers do not upload, extract, store or read your archive contents. Please read the product privacy notice and the unified DAWNBLOOM Privacy Policy for a complete explanation of data processing.
Account login and settings synchronization are optional. Language, compression format and compression presets are synchronized only after you enable synchronization. Files, archive contents, filename lists, paths, archive passwords, local history and temporary content are excluded from synchronization. Account authentication is handled under the unified account privacy policy.
4. File Sources, Passwords and Backups
You should confirm that you have the lawful right to use the files you process and independently assess whether their sources are trustworthy. Damage, missing archive volumes, encryption, malicious content or format differences may prevent an archive from being read or produce results different from those expected. Integrity and risk warnings cannot guarantee detection of all issues.
Please keep archive passwords secure and maintain independent backups of important files. The software does not guarantee recovery of content if a password is forgotten, the original file is already damaged or required archive volumes are missing.
5. Software License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use officially available DAWNBLOOM Archive on compatible devices that you lawfully own or control. Rights in the software, trademarks, icons, designs and code are not transferred by this license.
Except as permitted by applicable law, you must not maliciously modify or damage the software, bypass security measures, impersonate an official release, distribute malware or use this product in a manner that infringes others' lawful rights and interests. Third-party open-source components are governed by their respective licenses.
6. Compatibility, Updates and Fees
Format support and platform capabilities are as stated on the official website and in the corresponding release notes. Support for reading a format does not mean support for creating that format. Differences in archives, encodings, system permissions and available disk space may affect results.
We may provide security, compatibility and feature updates. Any price or charging method for an official release, if applicable, will be clearly announced before it is offered. These Terms do not themselves constitute a commitment to charge fees.
7. Disclaimers and Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the software is provided as is and as available. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain security and stability, but do not guarantee that every archive can be successfully read, repaired or extracted, or that the software can identify all malicious content.
These Terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, limit liability that must be borne under law for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or diminish your mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
8. Discontinuing Use and Changes to the Terms
You may stop using and uninstall the software at any time. Before uninstalling, please confirm that important archives and output files have been properly saved. Specific cleanup procedures are as described in the official instructions for the relevant platform.
We may update these Terms because of changes in law, security, platform rules or features, and will indicate the version and date on the official website. Material changes will be notified in a reasonable manner. Separate consent will be obtained for changes that require renewed express consent under applicable law.
9. Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without affecting mandatory consumer rights granted to you under applicable law. The parties should first seek an amicable resolution through consultation. If no resolution is reached, proceedings may be brought in accordance with law before a people's court with jurisdiction at the service provider's domicile. Any different requirements under mandatory laws applicable in the user's location shall prevail.
If any part of these Terms is invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective.
